Have you ever been at a place in life when you are focused; locked in on purpose and seeing progress then all of a sudden something out of left field gets your attention? It’s won’t necessarily be a bad thing but it’s not where your focus should be at the time. Most distractions come from people or places that have good intentions for you. No matter how small that thing may seem it can be a weapon of mass distraction because it shifts your focus and attention and gets you out of your lane. It’s sort of like if you are driving down the street and see an old friend and you blow your horn and wave but when you look up you see that you are swerving out of your lane and about to cause and accident. That’s what distractions do. Any distraction could be massive because they greatly increase your chance of making a mistake. Let’s strive to do better at recognizing distractions when they come so we can stay on point.
